Alternatively, you can use the device manager to check if there are problems with any of your hardware devices. In many cases the answer to this is yes, however in some cases the manufacturers no longer make the Drivers available so you need to use a Driver Update Tool to install the missing Drivers.
Bill Smithers Volunteer Moderator. The drivers don't need to be paid for or updated. The Vista operating system is what is no longer supported Are you sure that you do not have a 3rd party program telling you this? They may do more harm to your operating system than any good that they claim to be able to do. If you need to check: You should obtain your Driver Software from your Computer or Hardware Manufacturer, not through Windows Update except for Microsoft Hardware Updates , as Microsoft normally does nor have those latest Drivers available as Microsoft relies on the 3rd Party Hardware Manufacturer to supply them.
