I really like maze-based games. They remind me of playing early computer games on the Amstrad when I was a kid. Dig Dug requires you to defeat all enemies in a stage by either trapping them under rocks or pumping them full of air and popping them. Set in the rootin-tootin Wild West, you play as one of four bounty hunters charged with taking down bad guys and collecting the reward hanging over their heads. Give it a try! It does, however, have four famous half-shell warriors with attitude.
I think everyone loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Any amniotes that love pizza as much as I do are fine in my book! Each turtle has different abilities and fighting styles, and you can even go co-op too!

Ms Pac-Man was one of the greatest American arcade titles ever made. Critics went crazy over this game, praising the new features including the enhanced graphics, better maze design, and character traits. I loved it in the arcade and still break it out when friends come over. Actually, I would say "meh" to that type of setup. As always, pick up a SlikStik or X-Arcade. And I would say "meh" to that type of setup versus a real high definition display, presentation monitor, or projector Thing being that most of these games where designed to display on a 15 KHz standard resolution arcade monitor and they just do not look right on anything else.
Things like color shifts coded into them to account for the display short comings, etc. The filters in MAME do not look right to my eyes, plus most of them are real performance killers. I used to have a link to a page that had some nice screen shots of the various display methods and filters, but I just can not find it right now.
I'll have to see if I can dig it up tonight. Digging up an old 25" standard resolution arcade monitor is still the way to go I say. Someday, I'll have an arcade monitor for that reason, maybe a whole cabinet. The colors may never get "perfect" but they can look just fine. A Projector would have the worst color reproduction of any of them but that's a tradeoff for a huge screen, for example. And those are some mighty fine games to miss out on. The point is a high resolution display can run the low resolution stuff with filters or not and the high resolution stuff, is future-proof, and is useful for more than simply displaying games.
AvP is the greatest side scroller beatemup the world has ever seen. But only with Lynn Kurosawa, really. She is one of my favorite Capcom characters, and I have been waiting for her to find her way into a fighting game, but even stupid Jill Valentine beat her into Marvel Vs.
