I"m not a fan of vista I run XP professional. If you switched OS to XP professional, yes you would run a little faster since xp doesn't use as much memory to run, but the lag during the day is most likely from population. I believe this, since you do not lag at night.

Population btw, is characters and monsters. If you want to eliminate lag, turn graphics down in-game, avoid channels , and do a system clean, and defragmentation weekly at the very least.

That should help enough. Especially right now, with Cygnus Knights, and x2 exp events every week, the game has a lot of players online at any given time. Fewer players, means less lag. Vista is NOT the main source for all the new maple lag problems.

You heard right, it isn't. I have a PC that runs maple fine specs below , but my whole family uses it, so my parents got me a laptop as a X-mas present specs below. That and the same company made both of mine. If you're using vista, check this out: 1 Right click on maple, go to properties 2 go to 'Compatibility' 3 look at the 'Compatibility Mode' Area. Wow look! You can run maple as if it was on an XP computer! Now look at the list: Celeron vs Turion And the google search just proves it.
